Friday Dish: Busy Day

The week has gone well for writing and knitting, although I should have done more writing on current stories yesterday instead of starting work on a new one. I came up with the idea day before yesterday and I wrote down the notes in my notebook. Having seen half the story play out like a movie in my head I still ended up writing a little of the beginning instead of waiting until I finished the two I’m working on now. I don’t mind the addition, but it does mean I have another story to add to my list of stories to be completed (with hopes this year) and that means I’m going to be adding it to my weekly writing routine.

Today is going to be busy. I have errands to run and writing to do, and I also have to upload the September releases to Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Lulu and All Romance E-books. Yes, that is going to take a while depending on a lot of things. However both books ~ Sworn to Secrecy, and Deliverance, should be available on the sites by September 1st, so that’s nice.

In addition to writing and getting the new releases together, I have to get some knitting in. I am about two inches away from cast off for the new knitting project. It still won’t be complete as I have to do something I haven’t done before–sew on buttons and make button loops…yes loops, not holes. It doesn’t look very complicated, except for that part where I need a second person in order to make the loops…somebody to hold one end while I twist…I’ll have to figure out how to do it without a second person. There must be a way. I can’t imagine other lone knitters go knocking on doors to see if somebody will hold one end of their soon-to-be loop for them ;).

Basically today is going to be busy, but in a good way. That’s all for this week. More Dish next week; same time, same place. Have a great weekend :).
