Friday Dish: Writing Takes Over

We’re at Friday again. It has been a busy week for me; what about you? Anything exciting happening?

For me, I did a lot of writing—I mean a lot of writing. I’m working on the last MOA book for the year, which comes out in December. I’m also working on a new time travel story, that’s different than Returning Sheba and Warrior Rising, but I love the plot and where the story is going. There are so many other stories going on in my head, like little movies just waiting to be played to completion…and I’m working on them all :).

Make sure you come back on Sunday because I’m going to be giving more information about Betrayal of the Dove—which is out in June . I figure I’ll give you all little tidbits of information over the next three Sundays so you’ll know a little more about Alyssa McGregor and Shane Maxwell. So, that’s Sunday—don’t forget to come back.

Other than writing there’s sewing, knitting and cello practice—all of which have been slow going. I could do more, but seriously these stories are really taking over and I just don’t want to break from writing to sew or knit or practice cello (gasp on that last one…I can’t believe it myself). So I’m going to try to stop spending my entire day writing…well just for the weekend of course…I’m sure that won’t work, but at least I can say that I’m going to try even if I know the stories are going to just have to be told. I don’t know why I even bother to shut down the computer because usually the moment I walk away and start doing something else I think of the next great scene for the book and I just have to write…or um…type it ;).

I’m trying to think of what to do for another giveaway, but nothing has really come to me yet. I’ll let you all know if/when it does.

That’s all for this time. More Dish next week, same time, same place. Have a good weekend everybody!
