Friday Dish: Heartbreaker Blog Hop

Heartbreaker Button

If you follow my blog then you know that Fridays are for Friday Dish, but this week we have something a little different by way of the Heartbreaker blog hop.

We’re talking about heartbreakers in this hop. Being a heartbreaker seems to be an equal opportunity profession ;) . Men and women can be heartbreakers leaving the person imprisoned by their beauty and personality in the dust of heartbreak as they walk out of their life or give them pause to knowing if the love they feel for the person will ever be returned.

In my book, When the Heart Breaks, Antonio Carson isn’t the typical heartbreaker, but he comes close. When his promise to a dying woman—his wife—turns out to be more than he bargained for can Antonio manage not to bring destruction to Ailey’s heart? You can find out in When the Heart Breaks which is available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and on Lulu (print book only on Lulu) right now.

When the Heart Breaks

Since this is a blog hop there are grand prizes to be won, swag packs, a Kindle Fire/Nook Tablet, a $100 Amazon or B&N gift card. For a chance to win one of these prizes leave a comment answering the following question, don’t forget your email address, and continue to follow the hop to increase your chances to win.

What is a heartbreaker to you?   Don’t forget to continue the hop.

That’s all for this time. We’ll be back to our regularly scheduled Dish next week, same time, same place :) . To find out more about my books stop by the Capri Montgomery website.

  13. That’s so hard to say. I would say that a heartbreaker is one who can capture you with just a look and have you running with just a smile. They leave women shattered but they can be tamed in time and with the right person :)

I agree with everyone here, I would say especially some are afraid to be hurt again so they rather hurt or guard theirs to prevent it from happening again.

A heartbreaker can be a selfish person who doesn’t realize or doesn’t care how their actions affect you. But sometimes, circumstances make them a heartbreaker–like The Doctor in Doctor Who. He falls in love but knows he can’t stay, so he tends to break things off first or not let them get started in the first place.
